Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after the town she grew up in. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder is Jewish. Ryder believes that her father was from an ethnically Jewish origin. Uria is Ryder's younger sister. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are her half-siblings. When Ryder was seven, her family moved into Mendocino County California. The family lived in a place without electric power. Ryder would read extensively due to the lack of television. Ryder started taking classes in acting in the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 aged 12. Lucas was released in 1986. Ryder, who was just 15 years old, was offered an acting job as a lead actress. Ryder endured bullying while in high school. Ryder believed that if she became an actor, her bullying was going to be corrected. Sadly, this didn't occur. However, it didn't stop her from making plans for her future. In 1988 she had her breakthrough role in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was a star in various films. Ryder was nominated twice for Academy Awards one for her performance on The Age of Innocence (1993).
