Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer famous for his distinctive mix of soul gospel jazz R&B and R&B. The singer has worked everywhere from Broadway to the Democratic National Convention to the European music scene and the club scenes. Sunshine has been born Denise White. She is originally from Chester Pennsylvania, where she began her career in music by singing and playing piano in church. In Atlanta she went to Spellman College where her musical training began on Atlanta's R&B Scene. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals Stalk You A House 12 is only available in Japan. It has had numerous remixes and is the mainstay of her live performances. She has also contributed her voice on The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. She was then hired as the keyboardist principal for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 to be the as the Choral Director for Dreamgirls The stage show at Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was at the center of attention for people across the nation through daily performances of four at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine followed up with being selected to perform for the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
